Uprooted: Immigrant Identity and Belonging in Canada

To be uprooted is to be moved from one’s home or familiar location and dealing with the consequences of this is a hard and often lonely struggle that a lot of immigrants in Canada experience when trying to make a new life for themselves. In this piece we explore themes of immigration, identity, and acculturation with some of the brave individuals that left their home countries in pursuit of a better future for themselves and their families.
